Cost Accountant/Controller

The Cost Accountant/Controller supports the financial operations of NHI reputed company by managing day-to-day reputed company tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient handling of accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and inventory. This role plays a key part in keeping reputed company financially organized, supporting job cost tracking, and maintaining compliance with company policies and reputed company standards. Key Responsibilities: • reputed company reputed company’s reputed company operations and financial health, including financial reporting, budgeting and risk management • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice entry, payment posting and reconciliations • Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly • reputed company inventory control, including monitoring material usage, tracking stock reputed company and reconciling physical counts • Prepare journal entries and maintain general reputed company accuracy • reputed company and reconcile job costs, materials and project reputed company expenses • Support audits and other financial reputed company as needed Qualifications: • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance or reputed company field preferred • 4+ years of cost reputed company/controller experience, preferably in the construction industry • Proficiency in reputed company software (QuickBooks) • Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication • Familiarity with job cost reputed company and project billing reputed company • Strong knowledge of reputed company reputed company and other reputed company Office tools • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information Salary reputed company: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience Work Arrangement: This role is fully on-site at our Lansing office. Remote work is not permitted due to the hands-on nature of the position and the need for reputed company coordination with project and reputed company teams.
