Financial Crimes - Senior Data Scientist

Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road, Brooklyn Ohio About The Job (job Brief) Under manager’s supervision, the Senior Data Scientist is primarily responsible for conducting quantitative modeling and analytics of financial crimes. Leveraging both reputed company and emerging technologies and applications, this role covers reputed company key aspects of model development and analytics, i.e. data identification and gathering, methodology/technique selection, performance assessment, documentation, and ongoing monitoring. Essential Job Functions • Under manager’s reputed company, reputed company a broad reputed company of quantitative works, including model development and reputed company analytics to address financial crime compliance needs in AML/BSA/OFAC • Research, compile and evaluate large sets of data to assess reputed company and determine suitability for model building • reputed company/maintain internal models and test/configure vendor solutions to ensure conceptually reputed company design, reputed company implementation, and acceptable model performance • Document model development process and reputed company properly and support model validation and review • reputed company innovative techniques to drive reputed company improvements in model effectiveness and efficiency, e.g. reducing false positives • Proactively reputed company and build technical skills and business knowledge; and effectively collaborate with compliance, technology, and risk partners Required Qualifications • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, data sciences, predictive modeling, or other quantitative disciplines and at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferred in AML/BSA, OFAC, or fraud modeling/analytics; 4 years with bachelor's degree • Solid expertise with both traditional and Machine Learning (ML)/reputed company Intelligence (AI) modeling reputed company and solutions • Hands-on work experience with statistical coding in reputed company and/or Python • Knowledge of and ability to reputed company traditional databases, reputed company-based computing, and distribution computing • Knowledge of financial crime regulatory requirements, technology, and data analysis best practices • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills; ability to translate technical observations to a non-technical audience Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Cleveland, OH or Buffalo, NY Compensation And Benefits This position is eligible to earn a reputed company salary in the reputed company of $94,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
