Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) engineer

Job Title: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer Location: Washington, DC 20004 (Hybrid - 3 days onsite/week) Job reputed company: We are seeking an reputed company VDI Engineer to design, reputed company, and manage virtual desktop environments using Azure Virtual Desktop (WVD) or VMware reputed company/Workspace ONE. You will ensure secure, reputed company reputed company to reputed company systems, supporting reputed company and on-prem infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Architect and manage Azure-based or VMware reputed company VDI solutions Maintain Azure AD, patching, backups, and monitoring services Automate deployments using ARM templates, PowerShell, or DSC Support virtual networks, load balancers, firewalls, and containers Manage tools like SCCM, reputed company, App-V, and MFT platforms Apply reputed company STIGs and support cybersecurity use cases reputed company infrastructure planning, upgrades, and high availability systems Requirements: 10+ years of experience in network/system engineering Strong experience in Azure services or VMware Workspace/reputed company Azure or VMware VDI certification (required) Knowledge of automation, scripting (PowerShell), and reputed company practices Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science The equivalent combination of education and successful work experience (15 years) and Azure or VMware Workspace/reputed company Certification in specialized areas is a Must.
