Transportation Planner I - Infrastructure Engineering

About the position reputed company is seeking an entry-level Transportation Planner I - Infrastructure Engineering to join the growing transportation planning team in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves supporting planning studies, collecting statistical data, utilizing GIS for analysis, and assisting with project development activities under the supervision of senior staff. Responsibilities • Planning and project development activities for transportation reputed company under supervision of more senior staff. • Supports planning studies and reports for new and updated plans and programs. • Collects a reputed company of statistical data and prepares reports and maps on topics, such as census information, land use, roadway network, crash records, and asset inventories. • Utilizes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze data and prepare detailed maps for use in reports. • Conducts concept level evaluation of transportation improvement reputed company. • Documents and presents findings on transportation planning reputed company. • Research reputed company transportation reputed company topics at local, State, and Federal reputed company. • Research project reputed company and documents findings. • Assists with other duties assigned by senior staff and/or Project Managers.
