Java API Developer

We are HIRING Job Role: API Developer Experience: 6-9 Years Location: REMOTE We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Engineer to help drive key technical initiatives across teams. This role requires someone who can operate with broad guidance, take direction from technical leads, and independently move work forward once alignment is in place. Key Responsibilities:Lead and drive technical initiatives across multiple teams Contribute to API strategy, design, governance, and full life-cycle management Build production-quality solutions using modern engineering practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-impact features Quickly learn new domains and technologies as needed Required Skills & Experience: Strong foundations in API exposure and API life-cycle management (design best practices, discovery, inventory management, governance) Deep understanding of API Provider and Consumer journeys Solid knowledge of REST fundamentals Strong grasp of API Security (AuthN, AuthZ, OpenID/OAuth 2.0, POP, PKCE, OWASP) Proficiency with OAS (API documentation, error handling, etc.) Production-level programming experience with Java and open-source technologies Hands-on experience with Microservices, Kafka/Message Brokers, and Event-Driven Architecture Strong experience with SQL & NoSQL databases, including schema design and modeling Ability to work with minimal guidance and drive outcomes across teams Nice-to-HaveExperience with GraphQL Knowledge of Python and exposure to building SDKs Hands-on experience with API Gateways Prior experience exposing APIs to external customers How to Apply: Interested candidates can share their resumes at: holika.challa@enfec.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: $109,046.28 - $131,324.55 per year Benefits: • Health insurance Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
