Role: reputed company DBA with PostgreSQL Location: Frisco ,TX or Alpharetta , GA Duration: Long term contract Required Skills & Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS RDS and reputed company services (CloudWatch, IAM, S3, reputed company). • Strong understanding of SQL, PL/pgSQL, and query optimization techniques. • Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g., pgAdmin, reputed company, AWS CloudWatch). • Familiarity with Linux-based systems and reputed company scripting. • Knowledge of disaster recovery planning, high availability, and replication strategies. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in production environments. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with data migration from on-prem to AWS RDS. • Exposure to Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD integration. • Knowledge of PostgreSQL extensions (e.g., PostGIS, pg_stat_statements).
