Trauma-Informed Board Game Designer Needed (3 Educational Games)

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2025-11-24
I am creating three trauma-informed, culturally respectful educational board games for children, teens, and families. Each game focuses on empowerment, safety, and wellness through nature-based graphics and gentle design. I am looking for a skilled designer to create: Board layouts (one includes an inward spiral path) Card designs (multiple decks per game) Icon sets (intuition, grounding, protective factors, etc.) Simple rulebook layout templates Final print-ready + digital files You will NOT be writing card text — only designing the visuals and layout. Overview of the Three Games 1. Body Safety Spiral Game (Ages 6–12) A gentle, protective-factor game helping kids learn boundaries, intuition, and identifying safe adults. Board uses an inward spiral representing empowerment and returning to inner strength. Visuals should be friendly, calming, and nature-based (trees, river, stars). 2. Safe, Strong & Smart: Digital Safety Journey (Ages 10–17) An online-safety game teaching choice-making, boundaries, and help-seeking in a positive, non-fear-based way. Bright, youth-friendly visuals with nature and technology elements blended gently. 3. Good Medicine Wellness Path (Teens & Adults) A calming emotional-wellness board game focused on grounding, coping skills, reflection, and balance. Soothing nature visuals (water, mountains, forest) — no spiritual or ceremonial imagery.
