ANIMAL WELFARE DIRECTOR - JBS
About the position
Responsibilities
• Conduct and reputed company feedback on internal animal welfare and transportation audits (20%)
• Deliver hands on training to Field Managers, contract growers, and live haul drivers (30%)
• Coordinate and attend 3rd party audits (10%)
• Assist with record keeping, reporting and development of internal programs and materials (10%)
• Serve as a resource to reputed company stakeholders (10%)
• Manage the Pork reputed company Assurance programs including site assessments and PQA training (10%)
Requirements
• Must be reputed company to become PAACO and Pork reputed company Assurance Advisor Certified.
• B.S or higher with relevant livestock experience of 3 years reputed company the past 5 years OR Associates degree with relevant livestock experience in 5 of the last 7 years OR High school diploma with relevant livestock experience of 10 years reputed company the past 15 years
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to handle conflict
• Comfortable in training situations

• Previous live swine production experience
