We invite applications for one or more Research Scientists to join our mineral resources and bedrock geology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a field-oriented geologist interested in conducting geologic mapping. The successful candidate will contribute expertise in one or more of the following subdisciplines: igneous/metamorphic petrology, physical volcanology, structural geology, economic geology, geochronology, geochemistry, or regional geology. The new Research Scientist will participate in the AZGS geologic mapping program jointly funded by the AZGS and the USGS through the STATEMAP program.
