Law Clerk - Immigration Law- Spring Semester (Remote available)

Vazquez & Servi, P.C. is a well-established boutique immigration law firm in Atlanta. We provide the highest quality legal representation to the immigrant community in the area since 1996. Our clients often have no immigration documents even though they have mixed-immigration status families and years of living in the United States. Clients trust our firm because of our strong reputation for keeping our promises to provide high-quality, professional, diligent and responsive legal services. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a law clerk intern / extern. This experience will include assisting attorneys with Master Hearings and Individual Hearings, preparing prehearing briefs, legal memoranda and briefs, interviewing clients and drafting affidavits, reviewing immigration forms with clients, assisting with case summaries to be submitted to USCIS for waiver cases, and more. Everything will be under senior attorney supervision with positive feedback to create a career-building experience. For those law schools that offer externships with private law firms, an application for externship credits will be supported. This position could be on-site, hybrid, or remote. Desired Skills & Experience : • Completed first year of law school. • Interested in immigration law. • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. • 10-20 hours per week with flexibility for exam schedules and schoolwork.
