About World Business Lenders (www.wbl.com) World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding. WBL services its loan portfolio and loan portfolios for third parties, specializing in the management of non-performing loan pools and REO. WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. RESUMES MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH. Essential Functions: • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements. • Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses. • Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial information. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles (GAAP). • Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiencies in financial reporting processes. • Other projects and duties as assigned • 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills • Excellent Excel proficiency. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Solid understanding of K1 forms. • 2+ years of State and Local Tax (SALT) experience required. • Experience with Sage GL and AP is preferred but not required. • Well-versed in IFRS and/or USGAAP accounting. • Proficient with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferred • Positive attitude and willingness to learn • Proactive approach and strong work ethic • Excellent attention to detail • CONTRACT/CONSULTANCY POSITION • PTO Available • USD salary • 100% Work from home Original job Remote - Tax Analyst posted on GrabJobs ©.
