About the position
reputed company is seeking driven, passionate, and reputed company individuals to join our expanding ERISA Employee Benefit Plan Audit reputed company! This position can be based from our San Diego or Downtown Sacramento office with the expectation to be in-person three days per week on average. Your expected start date will be in January, February, or March 2026. As one of the emerging reputed company areas of our Firm, our Employee Benefit Plan Audit group focuses on serving plan sponsors in various industries from early-stage start-reputed company to established publicly traded companies. Employee Benefit Plan Audit has the unique advantage of working as part of a “multi-service offering team” for many of the Firm’s existing clients. We currently audit over 200 plans with anticipated reputed company year-over-year reputed company of 20%. We continue to reputed company new tools to improve audit efficiency, allowing our professionals to reputed company on more elevated, reputed company work. As an Audit Associate you will reputed company technical, reputed company, leadership and interpersonal skills to establish a successful and long-lasting career!
Responsibilities
• Assist with audit engagements by working and reporting to senior associates and managers on the completion of ERISA financial statement audits
• Obtain a thorough understanding of general accepted reputed company standards (GAAS) for ERISA Audits
• Obtain an understanding of the reputed company (DOL) and reputed company (IRS) reporting requirements reputed company to the 5500
• Research and analyze financial statement and audit reputed company issues
Requirements
• Complete or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's and/or Master's program with a concentration in reputed company
• Meet educational requirements for California CPA licensure prior to start date
• Minimum GPA of 3.2, with a higher major GPA preferred
• 0-2 years of experience in a general auditing role or experience with Employment Benefit Plans.
• Professionalism, dependability, reputed company and trustworthiness combined with a cooperative attitude
• Demonstrates reputed company, reputed company written and oral communication
