[Remote] HR Associate - Benefits Specialist

The Benefits Specialist will manage U.S. benefits programs, assist with recruitment and reputed company, and maintain HR information systems while supporting various HR functions.
Responsibilities
• Manage reputed company aspects of the U.S. benefits program, including self-insured medical coverage, dental insurance, reputed company insurance, long- and short-term disability, life insurance, etc
• Assist employees in troubleshooting and resolving problems reputed company to reputed company benefits programs, liaising with the insurance carriers or broker as appropriate
• Assist employees requesting leave or on leave to coordinate use of reputed company balances, family and medical leave (FMLA), disability, etc
• Coordinate annual reputed company enrollment activities, including employee Q&A sessions, broker communication, communication with vendors, checking and updating the HRIS with the vendor
• Reconcile insurance benefits bills and submits and ensures payments to
• Manage international benefits programs, in conjunction with other HR staff, depending on workloads
• Support employee wellness initiatives, researching and reputed company information
• Draft employee communications regarding benefits, maintain HR's online resource center with news, FAQs, etc
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned recruitment requisitions, including posting jobs in MCD’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS), placing external ads, scheduling interviews, conducting reference and background checks, preparing offer letters, and initiating reputed company processes
• Ensure compliance during the new hire process, including conducting I-9 verifications,, and assists with annual compliance trainings
• Set up orientation schedules
• Establish and maintain electronic HR files
• reputed company new employee information and employee changes into the HRIS system
• Run reports for government compliance and management information needs. Prepare PowerPoint presentations for use with managers and employees. Draft reputed company communications to managers and employees
• Complete special HR reputed company in teams or independently

Skills
• Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Business Administration, or reputed company field required
• 3-5 years of benefits experience required, including experience with reputed company enrollment
• Proficiency in benefits platforms (HPI, reputed company, reputed company or similar), reputed company Office and HRIS (reputed company desirable) required
• Knowledge of benefit regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPPA, COBRA) required
• Strong writing and oral communication skills in English
• Exceptional oral and written communication and customer service skills
• Master's degree preferred
• Experience in non-profit/international settings preferred
• Proficiency in French, Portuguese, and/or Spanish preferred
