Hydro Dam, LLC is a fast-growing, locally owned flood-barrier manufacturer dedicated to protecting Florida communities with innovative and affordable aluminum flood defense systems. We are looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy Assistant to support our operations, marketing, and vendor coordination as we expand rapidly across the state. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing many hats, thrives in a startup environment, and wants to be part of a mission-driven company making a real impact on hurricane-prone communities. ________________________________________ Responsibilities Email & Automation Support •Build and manage automated customer email workflows via HubSpot o Monthly newsletters o Auto-responses to customer inquiry submissions Website & Product Content Organization • Select, sort, and organize product photos from manufacturers into clean folder structures for the web development team • Assist in organizing new product listings and resource files for the website Data Entry & Research • Compile a list of all coastal Florida ZIP codes and organize them into marketing regions • Research and gather a list of competitors and their contact information for outreach • Track and log vendor, contractor, and engineering contacts Vendor & Partner Communication • Send files and documentation to vendors, contractors, and engineering partners • Respond to basic vendor inquiries and maintain strong communication lines Project & Task Management • Set up and maintain a task management system (e.g., Monday.com or similar platform) • Ensure tasks are tracked, organized, and completed on time Sales & Business Development Support • Identify competitors and potential distributors to pitch Hydro Dam products • Research and assemble contact lists for contractors experienced in flood-barrier installation, especially on Florida’s east coast • Build a list of hotels, resorts, and commercial properties for targeted marketing Engineering & Technical Coordination • Help source qualified engineers for product drawings and FEA-related documentation • Maintain communication with engineering firms and assist with document exchange Events & Outreach • Gather a list of flood-preparedness conventions nationwide • Complete applications for Hydro Dam to participate in relevant conventions and trade shows ________________________________________ Ideal Candidate • Extremely organized and detail-oriented • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) • Tech-savvy with experience in platforms like HubSpot, Monday.com, Google Drive, etc. • Research-oriented and resourceful • Experience in construction, manufacturing, engineering coordination, or marketing is a plus (but not required) • Passionate about helping communities prepare for hurricanes and flooding is a bonus ________________________________________ Compensation • Competitive hourly rate or salary based on experience • Potential for advancement as the company grows • Flexible hours and hybrid work options available Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
