Animator/Designer

Animator / Motion Designer (App Experience) NugVue is building a highly engaging, design-forward mobile app and we’re looking for an Animator / Motion Designer to bring our in-app experiences to life. This role is focused on creating beautiful, fluid animations that enhance rewards, progression, and moments of delight — the kind of interactions that keep users coming back. What You’ll Do • Design and animate in-app reward moments (unlocks, achievements, milestones, celebrations) • Create micro-interactions that improve engagement, clarity, and retention • Collaborate with product and design to elevate the overall app experience • Develop animations that feel natural, smooth, and intentional • Help define the motion language of the app as it scales What We’re Looking For • Strong experience in motion design / animation for mobile apps • A deep appreciation for Apple-level design aesthetics • Clean, fluid animation style (nothing flashy or gimmicky) • Strong sense of timing, easing, and visual hierarchy • Ability to design animations that support UX, not distract from it • Comfortable working from loose concepts or collaborating on ideas Tools / Skills (Flexible) • After Effects, Lottie, Rive, Figma, Principle, or similar tools • Experience exporting animations for iOS apps is a plus • Bonus if you’ve worked on reward systems, gamification, or consumer apps Why NugVue • You’ll help shape the core feel of a fast-growing consumer app • High creative ownership and real product impact • Design-first culture with an emphasis on quality • Flexible workload and async collaboration Compensation • Flexible and skill-based • Open to hourly, per-animation, or project-based pricing depending on experience and output Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
