BI Data Engineer

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
6+ years in database development/administration OR 8+ years progressive experience
Strong expertise in data architecture, ETL, data modeling, and BI platforms
Advanced SQL and hands-on ETL skills
Preferred: Healthcare domain experience
DevOps experience is a plus
Valid driver’s license; up to 10% travel
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Drive Agile project deliverables and manage technical priorities.
Data Architecture: Develop scalable data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and dimensional models.
SQL & ETL Development: Build complex SQL queries, SSIS packages, stored procedures, and optimized database objects.
Data Quality: Establish and enforce high standards for data accuracy, governance, and completeness.
Analytics Support: Understand business processes (Managed Care preferred) and design data models for reporting.
Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, document solutions, and promote best practices.
Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and contribute to team-level architecture decisions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
