[Remote] CompuLaw Historical Data Migration Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Infoshare Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Contractor with proven experience in Aderant CompuLaw software and historical data migrations. The successful candidate will support the firm's system merger and data integration initiatives by ensuring the accurate extraction, transformation, and migration of legacy data into CompuLaw while maintaining data integrity and compliance with firm standards. Responsibilities • Lead and execute data migration project from legacy CompuLaw system into existing CompuLaw system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. • Analyze existing calendaring and docketing data structures and develop mapping strategies for data import. • Work closely with IT, Docketing, and Project Management teams to define requirements, schedules, and deliverables. • Configure and optimize CompuLaw environments, including database connections, custom fields, and data validation rules. • Develop and maintain documentation for migration procedures, testing, and validation protocols. • Perform data cleansing and normalization to ensure compliance with firm and client data standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the migration process and system integration. • Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal teams post-migration Skills • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Aderant CompuLaw, preferably within a law firm or legal operations environment. • Proven track record of managing or executing data migration projects, particularly involving historical or legacy datasets. • Strong understanding of SQL, data mapping, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. • Experience with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar). • Familiarity with legal calendaring and docketing workflows and terminology. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
