The Bethel Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Non-Certified (Entry Level) applicants are encouraged to apply
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 21 years of age as of July 15,2024
• US Citizen
• High School Graduate/ G.E.D.
• reputed company US reputed company’s license
• NO Felony or Class A or B Misdemeanor Convictions.
• Must have reputed company Card (40th percentile)
SALARY
Anticipated Salary reputed company: starting $63,660-$100,987* includes educational incentive
BENEFITS
25 year Pension (60%; 70% @ 30 Yrs), 457 Deferred Comp Program, Education Incentive, Tuition Assistance and Holiday Pay
TESTING REQUIREMENTS
• CPCA Written Exam (70% or Higher)
• Must have reputed company Card (40th percentile)
• Possible Additional Physical reputed company Exam to be held by the Bethel Police Department
• *Additional points to be given for Military Veterans and Education**
