Remote Graphic Designer

Job Summary We’re looking for a reliable, on-call Graphic Designer to support our screen-printing business with clean, production-ready artwork. This role is remote and project-based, ideal for someone who works quickly and understands the technical side of apparel decoration. You’ll create custom graphics, prepare mockups, and—most importantly—separate artwork into accurate print layers for screen printing. Key Responsibilities • Create original graphics for apparel, merchandise, and promotional items • Prepare print-ready files, including vector artwork and properly labeled color separations • Build underbases, choke/spread as needed, and ensure artwork aligns with industry print standards • Convert rough sketches or ideas into polished designs • Produce mockups for customer approval • Update existing designs or reformat customer-provided artwork • Communicate project timelines and revisions clearly • Maintain organized file structures (AI, EPS, PDF, PNG) • Turn around projects promptly when needed — some quick jobs, some more in-depth Qualifications • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (non-negotiable) • Experience creating screen-print-ready separations (spot color, underbase, trapping) • Ability to work independently and handle on-call project flow • Portfolio demonstrating apparel or merchandise design • Understanding of vector vs. raster artwork and when each is appropriate • Comfortable working with brand guidelines, color palettes, and production specs • Excellent communication and time management skills Preferred Experience (Bonus, but not required) • Experience with Procreate, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW • Knowledge of DTG/DTF formatting • Familiarity with mockup creation and lifestyle templates • Experience working with small businesses or print shops Portfolio Requirements Candidates must include: • 3–5 examples of apparel graphics • At least one sample of separated artwork • Any mockups they’ve created for clients or shops Job Type: Contract Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
