[Remote] Linux System Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TechLine Consulting is assisting a client in modernizing legacy Linux server environments and migrating core infrastructure into AWS. The Linux Systems Engineer will focus on supporting existing Linux systems while contributing to cloud migration and modernization efforts in a hybrid on-prem and AWS environment. Responsibilities • Administer and support Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) • Monitor, patch, and troubleshoot Linux systems and services • Support and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) • Assist with migration of legacy systems into AWS • Perform basic automation and scripting (Bash) • Document system configurations and procedures Skills • 3–7 years of Linux Systems Engineering / Administration experience • Strong hands-on Linux expertise • Required AWS experience supporting production environments • At least one AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner or higher) • Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals • Experience with infrastructure modernization or cloud migration projects • Configuration management or automation tools (Ansible, etc.) • Exposure to containers or CI/CD environments Company Overview • At TechLine Consulting, people are our purpose and precision is our practice for Technology and Engineering.
