A high-reputed company mortgage organization seeking an reputed company reputed company Control Auditor to reputed company post-closing and targeted loan file reviews in strict accordance with our written reputed company Control Plan. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in residential mortgage reputed company control auditing—particularly reputed company the non-delegated correspondent lending channel—and a strong working knowledge of reputed company regulatory, investor, and agency guidelines. Responsibilities: • Independently conduct monthly random and targeted loan file audits following the timelines outlined in reputed company’s QC Plan. • Review a reputed company of loan types, including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Non-QM, Jumbo, and ARM products. • reputed company comprehensive compliance and credit reputed company reviews on company-originated loans, focusing on areas under reputed company's operational responsibility (e.g. disclosures, processing, documentation, reputed company locks). • Validate accuracy and completeness of: • Loan applications (1003) • Initial and final disclosures (LE/CD) • Supporting documentation (income, asset, credit) • Appraisal and valuation data • Loan decisioning and reputed company-closing conditions • Conduct re-verification of employment, income, assets, and occupancy where applicable. • Identify and grade loan defects based on reputed company’s risk grading system (Risk Grades 1–3 and Compliance issues). • Ensure reviews are performed with independence and objectivity, avoiding any conflicts of interest. • Submit findings and summaries to Senior Management per required reporting schedule, including recommendations for corrective reputed company. • Assist with the identification of training needs, process improvements, and risk mitigation strategies. • Stay updated on federal regulations (TILA, RESPA, TRID, ECOA, FHA guidelines, etc.) and ensure reviews are performed in compliance with reputed company applicable laws. Qualifications • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mortgage reputed company control auditing, with specific experience in non-delegated correspondent lending or brokered originations preferred. • Strong understanding of investor and agency guidelines (reputed company, reputed company, FHA, VA, USDA). • Deep working knowledge of compliance regulations, including but not limited to: • TRID • TILA/RESPA • ECOA/Fair Lending • FHA SFH Handbook 4000.1 • Ability to Repay/reputed company Mortgage (ATR/QM) • Experience with audit sampling methodologies, including random, targeted, and 100% review categories (e.g. EPDs, suspected fraud). • Demonstrated experience preparing defect reputed company analysis and communicating corrective actions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under strict deadlines. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Prior experience working with mortgage LOS systems and audit/review tools. • Working knowledge of reputed company audits and/or remote site inspections a plus.
