Public Relations Writer (Remote) - Blink Charging - Miami Beach, FL - work from home job Company: Blink Charging Job description: Benefits: • Health insurance • Vision insurance • 401(k) • Dental insurance Reporting to Sr. Manager Corporate Communications and Public Relations, the Public Relations Writer will assist in telling the Blink story, designed to help promote and protect Blink’s brand reputation and establish our corporate narrative to the media, influencers, and other external audiences. We’re looking for a public relations content writer who is strategic thinker, writer, doer, and flourishes in an active and creative team. As an essential member of the Corporate Communications & Public Relations team, the public relations writer will be responsible for conceptualizing, writing, proofreading, and editing content for print and digital spaces, customer and client-facing interactions, and presentations. The position will work on everything from press releases, editorials, blogs, and marketing materials to sales decks, social media posts and content series, web & app content creation, corporate communications and more. The role requires exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences. This position will work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Investor Relations and Government Affairs to proactively engage with media and content creator contacts to write about Blink. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Distilling complex subject matter into simple, straightforward language designed for multiple audiences including media, customers, clients and industry professionals. • Drafting and editing of corporate communications, news releases for print, broadcast, and digital media. • Writing content for the Company blog and website. • Writing contributed blog posts, articles and editorials for publications • Writing updates and content to be distributed via Company profiles on social media websites. • Writing content for internal and external publications and correspondence, including employee newsletters, customer newsletters, magazines, direct mail pieces, letters, annual report, and more. • Proofreading and review of written materials for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors to ensure accuracy and adherence to Blink style guidelines. • Editing on internal and external facing content where needed/requested to improve the clarity, coherence, and overall quality of corporate and public relations materials. • Ensuring consistency in language usage, terminology, and formatting across all materials. • Generating creative and technical copy for marketing and sales materials, both internal and external • Conducting face-to-face and telephone interviews to gather research and quotes used to develop PR materials, news releases, feature articles, etc. • Editing content contributed by other company representatives. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Public Relations, Communications or related field • 5+ years of experience writing for publications, drafting corporate communications • Must be creative and have excellent written and verbal communication, organization and analytical/problem-solving skills. • Automotive, clean energy, or utility experience preferred. • Excellent written communication, interpersonal, and organization skills • Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. • A background of enduring the rigors of fast-paced projects and creative environments • Leader capable of identifying opportunities and taking on projects and overseeing to completion. • Work Authorization: • United States (required) ​​Work may require occasional travel, weekend and/or evening work.
