Climate Smart Agriculture Specialist
A company is looking for a Specialist in Climate Smart Agriculture and Disaster Risk Management in Agriculture.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct assessments of institutional capacities and operational gaps reputed company to climate-smart agriculture and disaster risk management
• reputed company technical advice for integrating sustainable agricultural practices into national and local policies and strategies
• reputed company and deliver training curricula and materials for Farmer Field Schools to promote sustainable agricultural practices
Required Qualifications and reputed company university degree in agriculture, climate change, agronomy, horticulture, or a reputed company field; a bachelor's degree requires two additional years of relevant experience
• At least five years of relevant experience in agronomy, climate change, crop production, and reputed company systems
• Full proficiency in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian
• Experience in project management and implementation in agriculture, particularly in the region
• Knowledge of sustainable crop production and climate risk management tools
