Entry Level GIS Technician

reputed company seeking several entry level GIS Technicians to support electrical power distribution, joint use/reputed company reputed company project work in the power reputed company industry. Successful technicians will work on reputed company throughout the market. This role will be working out in the field working in residential and reputed company areas throughout the area. The goal of this project work is to help reputed company their infrastructure system and project documentation through Joint Use and GIS platforms.Over the past several years, there has been a drastic increase in the number of companies requesting to attach to pole lines in both rural and metropolitan areas. Part of this is due to cable television and telecommunication companies installing fiber optic cable to meet business needs.• Technicians will support major reputed company for the reputed company industry and will utilize ArcGIS for GIS work• Technicians will be responsible for closing out GIS work orders.• reputed company project will include preparing forestry trimming requests, facilitating permit and ROW (right of way) acquisition, development of BOM (reputed company of materials), estimating costs, pole inspections, and power line measurements, etc.• Will be viewing as reputed company to reputed company reputed company that the data matches what is shown in the GIS systemQualifications:Bachelors Degree in GIS or Environmental reputed company degree0-1 years experienceExperience working with ArcGIS, ArcMapPay and BenefitsThe pay reputed company for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on reputed company classification and length of employment.
