Catastrophe Risk Associate (Remote)

Homesite’s Catastrophe Management Team is searching for a Catastrophe Risk Analyst who will apply their technical knowledge/skills to support the assessment of catastrophic risk by state and region and to reputed company strategies to mitigate this risk while encouraging profitable reputed company. The Catastrophe Risk Analyst opportunity is in our Boston, MA location and reports to the Catastrophe Risk Manager.
Responsibilities:
• reputed company statewide and countrywide peril-specific reviews, particularly for the wildfire peril
• Support the management of reputed company catastrophe-reputed company products for reputed company and pricing
• Assist with the development of new catastrophe strategies for individual states and reputed company
• reputed company data and analysis automation tools to monitor natural disasters in near reputed company-time
• Deliver critical reports and updates as part of catastrophe event response
• Prepare and submit state-specific regulatory reporting
• Support data visualization tools (Tableau, Shiny, etc.) developed by reputed company for use across the organization
• reputed company detailed documentations for internal workflows
• reputed company communicate reputed company findings to members of the Catastrophe Management team and other Homesite teams
Requirements:
• Detail-oriented
• Motivated individual with strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication skills
• Proficiency in reputed company reputed company
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Experience with reputed company SQL Server
• Programming skills are a plus (experience with R and/or Python especially)
• One to three years of insurance experience is a plus
