You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, personalized learning experiences as we continue to expand our reach globally.</p><p><strong>Crimson Global Academy USA</strong>, is an accredited US private online high school and we're looking for qualified, passionate, and inspiring subject teachers who are looking to transform the future of Education. You'll get to be a part of a team of highly experienced teachers conduct lessons in small, engaging virtual classrooms. Our students are ambitious, studying with us part-time (in addition to their traditional school) or full-time (as their sole education provider). Many of our students are aiming to attend top universities in the US and UK.<br><br>We’re looking for a passionate Computer Science teacher who can teach beginner to advanced levels across the AP and US Diploma curricula.</p><ul><li><p>The role covers Intro to Python for our Term 2 group class every <strong>Monday and Wednesday at 2:30 PM PST</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Each class runs for <strong>90 minutes</strong>, with up to <strong>1 hour of weekly office hours</strong> depending on course requirements.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Key</strong> <strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li><p>Deliver personalized, high-quality instruction in a one-on-one virtual setting, adapting to each student's unique learning needs.</p></li><li><p>Utilize diverse teaching strategies and digital tools to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.</p></li><li><p>Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adjust teaching methods to ensure optimal learning outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Plan and execute clear course schedules, detailing session content and assessment timelines.</p></li><li><p>Conduct professional, interactive live sessions, leveraging online learning resources to enhance the educational experience.</p></li><li><p>Set relevant homework, design and administer assessments, and provide constructive feedback to encourage student growth.</p></li><li><p>Develop educational materials, including tests and exams, contributing to CGA’s rich resource library.</p></li><li><p>Efficiently manage your online classroom on Canvas, keeping it organized with assignments and assessments for easy student access.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>:</p><ul><li><p>A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the subject area you wish to teach.</p></li><li><p>Experience teaching US grades 9-12 or teaching the subject area at the college level</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for innovative education methods.</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive knowledge of the US AP Curricula</p></li><li><p>The ability to dedicate at least 15-20 hours weekly for 6-9 months once you take a student.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Master’s or higher degree in education or subject area you wish to teach</p></li><li><p>State teaching license</p></li><li><p>Prior experience teaching Honors or AP courses</p></li><li><p>Experience in teaching students AP Exam Prep</p></li></ul><p><strong>About Crimson Global Academy:</strong></p><p><a target="_blank" href="https://www.crimsonglobalacademy.school/">CGA</a> is a world-class online school delivering live, real-time learning to ambitious students around the world.
