Fractional / Part-Time CFO – Behavioral Healthcare We are seeking an experienced Fractional / Part-Time CFO to provide ongoing strategic financial leadership for a behavioral healthcare organization. Experience with mental health and/or substance use treatment, Medi-Cal and Medi-Cal contracts, DHCS, and Joint Commission is a strong plus. Responsibilities: • Provide strategic financial oversight, forecasting, and NOI optimization. • Meet bi-weekly with the Director of Finance and Controller to review financials, KPIs, and cash flow. • Prepare and present financial performance to the Board of Directors monthly. • Support budgeting, variance analysis, and strong financial controls. • Advise leadership on margins, payer mix, and compliance in a regulated healthcare environment (Medi-Cal, DHCS, Joint Commission). Qualifications: • Prior experience as a CFO or Fractional CFO. • Behavioral healthcare experience preferred. • Experience with Medi-Cal reimbursement and Medi-Cal contracts. • Familiarity with DHCS and Joint Commission standards. • Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and Board presentation skills. Time Commitment: • Approximately 10 hours per month • Ongoing, part-time engagement (remote-friendly) Total Compensation: up to $ 150,000 per year • Fixed monthly retainer $ 3,500 per month / $ 42,000 per year • Performance-based bonus tied to NOI: up to $ 108,000 per year / $ 27,000 per month Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
