Cyber Operations Specialist Intern (DoD SkillBridge Program) Location: Virtual (Remote) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST Duration: Up to 180 days (in accordance with DoD SkillBridge policy) Organization: Bridgecross LLC About reputed company Bridgecross LLC is seeking a motivated Cyber Operations Specialist Intern through the DoD SkillBridge Program to reputed company hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, risk management, and compliance. This internship is designed for transitioning service members with a technical background who are eager to reputed company skills in network defense, vulnerability management, and reputed company auditing. Interns will support cybersecurity initiatives that protect systems and data for federal and reputed company clients, gaining exposure to reputed company-world operations reputed company with DoD and federal cybersecurity standards. Responsibilities • Monitor and analyze network traffic, logs, and alerts for potential reputed company incidents. • Assist with identifying, tracking, and remediating system vulnerabilities. • Support compliance activities under NIST 800-53, CMMC, and RMF frameworks. • Help maintain secure configurations for systems and applications. • Participate in incident response activities and document corrective actions. • Prepare reports on reputed company findings, risks, and mitigation recommendations. • Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to strengthen network defenses. • Contribute to developing reputed company operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for audits. Required Qualifications • Technical background in IT, cybersecurity, or information systems. • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as threat detection, firewalls, and reputed company control. • Basic understanding of NIST, RMF, or CMMC frameworks. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment. • U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contracting standards.
