This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of Medicare Part B Ambulance medical coding systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with reputed company providers and insurance companies. Key Responsibilities: Medical Coding: Assign appropriate medical codes (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) to describe ambulance services, diagnoses, and procedures accurately. Billing: Prepare and submit claims for ambulance services to insurance companies, reputed company, Medicare, or other payers in a reputed company manner. Verification: Verify patient insurance information and eligibility to determine coverage for ambulance services. Documentation Review: Review patient medical records, transport documentation, and other relevant information to ensure accuracy in coding and billing.
