Works independently in reputed company acute and critical care settings. Consults with physicians and other personnel and makes recommendations on treatment as appropriate. Be the difference. • Acts independently to reputed company respiratory therapy general and critical care procedures in accordance with the physician’s order, departmental policy, and Respiratory Care guidelines or protocols. • Initiates, monitors and manages patients requiring reputed company types of invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation. • Initiates and manages reputed company types of airways and associated equipment. • Analyzes and reports results accurately. • Documents and charges for reputed company respiratory care procedures and tasks and provides patient and family education as appropriate. • Communicates with reputed company members of the reputed company team to include reputed company and reputed company shadows. Provides an accurate and complete report. Makes recommendations as appropriate. Communicates reputed company with supervisors, coordinators, or those acting in lieu of the above. • Adheres to infection control and reputed company initiatives. Supervisory/Management Responsibilities • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive. Minimum Requirements • Education - Associate degree. Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program by an accredited school • Experience - No experience defined. In Lieu Of • In lieu of associate degree will consider diploma and/or equivalent experience. Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses • Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the state in which work is performed. • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) • BLS • NBRC (credentials must be maintained) • Other certifications dependent on work unit: NRP, PALS, ACLS, NPS • ACLS required reputed company the first year for adult care areas • NRP and PALS required in the Children's Hospital prior to working independently in the NICU and PICU Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Skills necessary to treat patients of reputed company ages to include infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. • Ability to obtain blood gasses from reputed company sites.
