Part-Time Data Collection Analyst

Gradient Sports are looking to add new members of staff to our data collection team on a part-time basis. Previous experience of Sports Data Collection or experience within Football professionally as a Player/Coach/Scout/Analyst are preferable but not essential provided you can demonstrate analysis skills & football understanding. Our ideal candidate must: - Be enthusiastic about Football & Analysis - Have a professional work ethic - Be able to work accurately whilst under pressure to meet deadlines - Be available & willing to work weekends & unsociable hours At Gradient we grade every player involved in every event (both on & off the ball) with over 2,000 grades awarded per game across 25 different grade categories. Successful candidates will help with this evaluation process as well as collecting data that will go directly to team & media clients & power Gradient’s own content & products. Why Join Gradient? We have also had a number of our team use their experience with Gradient as a launching pad to a career in the game with former staff members going on to work as Analysts, Coaches & Scouts. Access to Data All successful candidates will be given access to our Event & Grading Data free of charge. About the Role Successful candidates will be provided with 2 games per week on average (around 8-10 hours worth of work) during the European Football season (August-May). More work is available at times during the season depending on the fixture schedule & a reduced workload is offered during the off-season. This is a remote position, there will be no need to relocate & applications will be accepted from across the globe.
