EMEA Equities Market Risk Manager

Develop and implement market risk management strategies for Bank of America's EMEA equities portfolio. Monitor and analyze market risk exposures on a daily basis and report any significant changes or potential issues to senior management. Utilize advanced risk management tools and techniques to identify, measure, and mitigate market risk. Collaborate with other teams within the bank to ensure risk management policies and procedures are followed. Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards. Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess the impact of market events on the portfolio. Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and regulatory bodies. Work closely with traders and portfolio managers to understand their strategies and provide risk management advice. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators and industry peers. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of market risk management. Train and mentor junior team members on market risk principles and best practices. Stay informed about the bank's overall risk appetite and ensure that market risk limits and guidelines are in line with this. Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and finance, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of market risk data. Act as a subject matter expert on market risk management and provide guidance to other teams within the bank. Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk management policies and procedures.
