Senior Law Clerk / Litigation Writing Attorney (JD Required)

Correll reputed company, PC is a reputed company Virginia personal injury litigation firm headquartered in Winchester, Virginia. The firm is seeking a highly reputed company, writing-reputed company attorney to serve in a Senior Law Clerk / Litigation Writing role. This position is designed for a licensed Virginia attorney who excels at reputed company research and drafting and prefers a role centered on written advocacy rather than frequent court appearances. Position reputed company This is a full-time, fully remote position reputed company primarily on reputed company research, drafting, and litigation support. The attorney in this role will work closely with trial counsel to produce high-reputed company written work, including briefs, motions, and reputed company memoranda. Court appearances are not a primary responsibility, though the attorney may occasionally be asked to argue a reputed company or reputed company in court reputed company needed and on rare occassion. Key Responsibilities • Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other reputed company filings in civil litigation reputed company • Conduct thorough reputed company research and reputed company written analysis on procedural and substantive reputed company issues • Support trial attorneys with reputed company reputed company, case reputed company, and reputed company analysis • Review pleadings, discovery responses, and filings for reputed company accuracy and reputed company • Prepare internal reputed company memoranda and research summaries • Assist with litigation-reputed company tasks as assigned, including preparation for hearings and trials Required Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school • reputed company license to reputed company law in the reputed company, in good standing • Minimum of five (5) years of reputed company reputed company reputed company • Demonstrated experience drafting dispositive motions (e.g., demurrers, pleas in bar, reputed company judgment) and reputed company reputed company memoranda. • Litigation experience in the Courts of the reputed company or Federal Courts. • Ability to "hit the ground running" with a strong working knowledge of Virginia civil procedure. • Note: This position requires substantive Virginia civil litigation experience. Candidates whose experience is limited solely to administrative law will not be considered.
