Marketing Consultant

Vendetta is an indie publishing-as-a-service company and a subsidiary of Infinitize, a boutique strategic digital media consultancy that helps brands leverage community engagement and content creation - with clients spanning the gaming, K-pop, anime, art, and cultural niches. Vendetta is seeking a Marketing Consultant with a passion for gaming and the indie gaming community to be our in-house gaming expert and help us build unique and innovative marketing campaigns for our clients. This remote position is open to candidates in the United States and Canada. Responsibilities will include: • Developing go-to-market launch campaigns for new indie games, • Advising on continuous engagement tactics for players, and • Owning the marketing calendar across multiple client games. Applicants must: • Have a passion for gaming and understanding of the gaming community, especially indie games • Have experience working in the gaming industry - either in a publishing, marketing, brand or community role • Have experience working with first-party platforms • Have their finger on the pulse of the gaming market - we’re looking for someone who pays attention to what games are doing to stand out among the crowd • Be creative thinkers who are keen to collaborate cross-functionally and build unique and ground-breaking campaigns for our gaming clients • Enjoy working remotely and in a fast-paced environment Nice-to-Haves: • Experience in campaign planning, messaging, and cross-channel strategy • Deep understanding of player behaviour and of current gaming trends • Data-driven — able to track KPIs and apply learnings to future campaigns • Experience working with influencers in the gaming space To apply: Please send us an email with your portfolio along with a list of your top 5 favorite indie games.
