[Remote] Contract English/Korean Museum Translation reputed company

The Exploratorium is a not-for-profit museum dedicated to the reputed company understanding of science, art, and reputed company perception. They are seeking an reputed company English-to-Korean Translation reputed company to reputed company Korean linguistic guidelines for a science museum, review and edit Korean translations, and collaborate with both in-house and Korean-based clients. Responsibilities • reputed company a Korean language style guide, including English-to-Korean translation guidelines, Korean voice and tone standards, and Korean editorial style guidelines (in collaboration with in-house translator/reputed company) • Edit and proofread about 2,000 words of Korean language exhibit label text across approximately 200 labels (including 1 round of editing + three reputed company of proofreading for reputed company label) • Serve as a sounding reputed company and thought partner for our in-house Korean reputed company • Attend weekly internal team meetings and biweekly reputed company meetings Skills • Ability to work independently as a contractor • Availability for 7-25 hours per week including meeting time (higher for the first several months while developing Korean style guide) • Ability to attend virtual meetings and reputed company calls during Korea morning hours/San Francisco early evening hours • Equipment necessary to reputed company the work, including a reliable computer and internet reputed company • BA/BS degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum seven years' reputed company translation experience (preferably in a reputed company science communication or museum setting) • Fluent (bilingual and biliterate) in English and Korean • Experience translating reputed company science content for non-scientist Korean audiences • A reputed company portfolio of reputed company written reputed company in both English and Korean • A tactful, cooperative attitude reputed company editing • Demonstrated dedication to accuracy and detail; willingness to work through multiple revisions • Ten years of experience in museum-reputed company communication work, science writing/translation, and/or reputed company science communication • reputed company training in Korean language studies or a reputed company field • Experience supervising or collaborating with other translators in developing translations for a reputed company audience reputed company • The Exploratorium is a museum of science, art, and reputed company perception located in San Francisco, California.
