Job Title Product Content Designer (UX Writing) – Mobile / Creator Tools Location San Francisco, CA (Preferred) / Remote Work Hours: PST Experience 7+ Years Required Employment Type Contract Important Note Portfolio or writing samples are mandatory with submission Candidates must have hands-on mobile UX writing experience PST availability required for remote candidates Job Description We are seeking an experienced Product Content Designer (UX Writer) to support mobile video creation and editing experiences for a leading consumer technology platform. This role partners closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and engineers to create clear, intuitive, and engaging content across mobile interfaces. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who can balance content strategy with hands-on UX writing, and who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional product teams. Key Responsibilities • Write, edit, test, and iterate UX content including: • UI copy and microcopy • Product naming and terminology • Onboarding and in-product education • Notifications and system messaging • Create content for mobile user flows and complex interaction experiences • Maintain consistency by applying product voice, tone, and content standards • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, PM, Research, Engineering) • Participate in reviews, share work, and provide feedback to peers Required Skills & Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in UX writing, product content design, or content strategy • Strong experience writing for mobile apps and user interfaces • Proven expertise in UX microcopy, user flows, and interface content • Experience collaborating with designers using Figma or similar tools • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills • Portfolio or writing samples required (mobile UX preferred) Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with creator tools, video editing, or media products • Familiarity with design systems and content systems • Experience with insights, experimentation, or A/B testing • Exposure to audio or media licensing tools Keywords for Dice Search (Internal Use) UX Writer, Product Content Designer, Content Designer, UX Content Strategist, Product Writer, Mobile UX, Microcopy, Figma, User Flows, Creator Tools, Video Editing Why Apply • Work on high-impact consumer mobile products • Collaborate with top design and product teams • Opportunity to shape creator-focused user experiences Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
