About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Chemistry Tutor who is passionate about inspiring and educating students. Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor and/or teacher who is able to adapt to different learning styles and has a solid understanding of the field of education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, one-on-one tutoring to students in College Level Chemistry, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and session reports, and submit them to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session
• Effectively balance tutoring hours for each assigned student, ensuring that they receive the support and guidance they need to succeed
• Respond promptly and professionally to students' concerns, questions, and requests, and follow up with our office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours
• Service existing clients' needs, and ensure that their expectations are met and exceeded
• Candidates must only service students whose needs meet theirs, ensuring that each student receives the best possible support and guidance

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred, with a focus on tutoring and/or teaching in specialized education fields
• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus, but not a requirement
• Experience with basic Database/Data Entry, and the ability to prepare comprehensive lesson plans and session reports
• Strong administration skills, including typing, PC, and recording skills
• Having a personality that is suited for different types of students, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
• Reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must, as well as access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone

• Experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds, including those with special needs
• Knowledge of current educational technologies and trends, and the ability to incorporate them into tutoring sessions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and our office team
