Key Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced analysis techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) to large-scale, complex data sets to drive business decisions.
  • Analyze customer behavior (e.g., genre preferences, viewing patterns) to identify unmet customer needs and untapped content opportunities.
  • Predict content engagement to inform acquisition decisions and optimize our content portfolio.
  • Enhance our content launch and episode release strategy using data-driven insights.
  • Test marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention.
  • Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance, providing actionable insights for strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis support to stakeholders to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Effectively communicate complex results through compelling data storytelling across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Data Analysis, with a strong background in SQL and experience with R and/or Python.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques, including decision trees, regression, classification, and more.
  • Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems.
  • Excellent data storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex insights through verbal, written, and visual communication.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • A Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent field.
