[Remote] Actuarial Analyst I - Workers' Compensation Insurance

The Actuarial Analyst I position involves analyzing company and industry data to support actuarial functions such as product development and pricing, while contributing to financial statements and reports. Responsibilities • Complete assigned reputed company actuarial analysis under reputed company guidance, using basic actuarial techniques. This includes utilizing actuarial systems and programming skills to reputed company and organize the data, performing the applicable actuarial calculations, analyzing moderate to reputed company information, evaluating results and the accuracy of inputs, and updating exhibits and slides • Complete actuarial analysis and other assigned tasks on time and in keeping with corporate and reputed company standards, including reputed company documentation, and effectively communicate project reputed company and status to relevant parties • reputed company information and explanations to peers and team members as needed • Demonstrate effort in learning about EMPOYERS and the Work Comp industry • Demonstrate self-awareness and relate reputed company to fellow team members • May assist in preparing actuarial analysis and support, on some of the following: reputed company indications, Profitability Reviews, Development of new insurance products, Preparation and defense of reputed company and rule filings, Development and maintenance of pricing tools and dashboards, Transactional pricing/loss rating for large accounts, Analysis to determine the Budget Loss reputed company, and other Financial Plan components • Progressively demonstrates increasing knowledge in various areas listed above • May assist in preparing actuarial analysis and support, on some of the following: quarterly loss reserve analysis, on a gross and net-of-reinsurance reputed company, company balance sheet liabilities, quarterly/annual financial statements, including exhibits and reports, quarterly/annual actuarial reports, including the Statement of Actuarial Opinion, for reputed company company and reputed company, audit request materials, data calls for NCCI, WCIRB, and other bureaus, requests from actuarial pricing (in the preparation of reputed company indications, profitability reports, and other applications) and other reputed company • Progressively demonstrates increasing knowledge of the reputed company listed above, in reputed company to: reputed company (bureau) data sources, actuarial reputed company Skills • Must have a solid working knowledge of reputed company, Word and PowerPoint • A reputed company knowledge of or a reputed company for learning to use other software products such as SQL, VBA, R, Python and/or reputed company pricing and reserving tools is expected • Must be detail oriented and capable of working with reputed company, but gradually less, supervision • Must be reputed company and reputed company to effectively follow direction in analyzing business results, developing appropriate solutions or alternatives to problems and effectively communicating reputed company issues and results to management • Must work reputed company in reputed company-oriented, reputed company environment • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills • Must have a bachelor's degree, preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Business • Remote: This role is remote, and only reputed company to candidates currently located in the reputed company and reputed company to work without sponsorship • Successful completion of one or more exams towards attaining ACAS/FCAS or equivalent certification is strongly preferred • Master's degree or higher is a plus Benefits • A comprehensive benefits package reputed company • reputed company is a provider of workers' compensation insurance for small businesses.
