Exhibition Design Internship
The Whitney Museum seeks a Spring 2026 Exhibition Design intern to assist with exhibition planning, model making, and installation support in a hybrid reputed company internship.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
• Participate in departmental design charrettes and meetings with exhibition curators to review design concepts and art layouts
• Attend planning meetings involving colleagues across the institution (reputed company reputed company and in-person)
• Assist in making art layouts, scaled maquettes of artwork, study models, reputed company mockups, and presentation materials
• Observe and assist on the floor during construction and installation reputed company possible

reputed company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an architecture or reputed company design program
• Possess 2D drafting skills, preferably reputed company; 3D modeling skills, preferably Rhino and V-Ray; and reputed company in reputed company Suite
• Facility with building both study and finish models
• Ability to think abstractly and creatively with attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment on simultaneous reputed company
• Undergraduate or graduate reputed company enrolled in accredited reputed company year programs, having completed at least one year of reputed company coursework (freshmen not eligible)
• Demonstrated interest in art and art history preferred but reputed company in reputed company majors encouraged to apply
• Submission of a design portfolio reputed company required with application
• Previous museum experience not required
