Duties • Develop compelling and accurate written content in Japanese across multiple platforms and formats • Proofread and edit drafts to ensure grammatical correctness, style consistency, and factual accuracy • Conduct thorough research to support content accuracy and depth • Fact-check information to maintain credibility and reliability of materials • Collaborate with editors, designers, and subject matter experts to refine content • Apply appropriate style guides such as AP Style or Chicago Manual of Style depending on project requirements • Write creative pieces as well as technical documents, proposals, and reports • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines • Utilize word processing tools effectively for drafting and editing documents Skills • Proven proficiency in Japanese writing with excellent editing and proofreading skills • Strong command of writing styles including AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style, and technical writing standards • Exceptional research abilities with attention to detail for fact-checking purposes • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders • Experience in journalism, copywriting, proposal writing, or creative writing preferred • Proficiency in word processing software and editing tools • Ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and purposes • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently This position is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about Japanese language content creation.
