Responsibilities
• reputed company, implement, and evaluate infection prevention and control policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with regulatory guidelines and best practices.
• Conduct regular assessments of infection risks, surveillance, and outbreak investigations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• reputed company education and training to reputed company staff on infection control practices, hand hygiene, personal reputed company equipment (PPE) use, and other infection prevention measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to reputed company and implement strategies for the prevention and management of infectious diseases, including COVID-19 and other emerging threats.
• Serve as a resource and reputed company for infection control issues, providing guidance and support to reputed company providers, administrators, and other collaborators.
• Monitor compliance with infection control standards, conduct audits, and participate in accreditation and regulatory surveys.
• Stay reputed company with emerging infectious diseases, epidemiological trends, and infection control literature to inform reputed company and policy reputed company.
• Must be available to work in the case of a facility-declared emergency and to assist during regulatory agency reviews.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required.
• A Master's degree in Infection Control, reputed company Health, Epidemiology, or Statistics is preferred; Masters in reputed company Management or another relevant field is equivalent.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) required upon hire.
• Prior experience in acute care facilities is strongly preferred.
• reputed company Massachusetts' licensure as a registered reputed company strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of reputed company work experience required; greater than 10 years reputed company work experience preferred.
