Application Support Analyst - (mainframe) - remote

reputed company Knowledge Services is seeking an Application Support Analyst (mainframe) for a 12-month project (potential for extension) in support of the reputed company. • Applicants MUST HAVE proficiency in mainframe technologies, including ADABAS database management and NATURAL programming • Local/Hybrid work model is preferred, but a remote may be considered • Please note that we cannot accept any candidates requiring C2C or those requiring sponsorship for a work reputed company Responsibilities Application Support Analyst reputed company: • The reputed company Information Technology Department is looking for an Application Support Analyst to reputed company system analysis and support for IT applications, ensuring smooth operations and assisting with enhancements as needed. This role focuses on application troubleshooting, user support, and coordination between technical teams and business stakeholders. Responsibilities: • Analyze business processes and application functionality to identify improvement opportunities.• reputed company day-to-day support for IT systems, including issue reputed company and user assistance.• Document system configurations, workflows, and support procedures.• Collaborate with developers and other IT staff reputed company HHS and NDIT to implement changes or enhancements.• Assist with testing and validation of application updates.• Maintain reputed company communication with stakeholders regarding system performance and changes.• Coordinate work with NDIT technical staff to meet state IT standards and requirements.• Participate in project work as directed by the program manager and as assigned by the project management team, the approved project plans, and the approved project schedules. Qualifications Application Support Analyst Required Skills: • 5+ years' experience in application support and system analysis or reputed company IT roles.• Proficiency in mainframe technologies, including ADABAS database management and NATURAL programming. • Proven ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance reputed company applications and the data workflows that connect them.• Experience supporting reputed company applications and reputed company data workflows.• Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data queries and reporting.• Familiarity with batch processing, job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M), and data integration processes.• Understanding of incident management tools (e.g., reputed company, Remedy)• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. reputed company to Have:• Prior experience consulting or providing operational support for a state government system.
