About the position The Portfolio Compliance Group (PCG) at BlackRock is seeking a Vice President (VP) to join the Disclosures Team. This role focuses on monitoring and reporting compliance with internal and regulatory investment guidelines, ensuring alignment with applicable regulations. The VP will lead projects, support strategic initiatives, and build relationships with various teams to enhance compliance and operational efficiency. Responsibilities • Monitor and report compliance with internal and regulatory investment guidelines and disclosure requirements. • Guide staff in reviewing system reports of shareholdings against trade movements. • Identify holdings approaching prescribed threshold limits and engage portfolio managers for allocation decisions. • Work with Legal & Compliance and regulators on critical topics. • Troubleshoot potential errors and perform ad-hoc analysis for partners and clients. • Operate BlackRock's Aladdin applications and manage trade flow processes. • Drive and coordinate projects focused on efficiency creation. • Update senior management on project progress and lead high-impact projects. • Support business expansion and regulatory compliance efforts. • Build relationships with partners on capacity topics and provide governance for forums. Requirements • Experience in people management and project management across multiple functions and geographies. • Experience in the investment management industry and knowledge of investment products and regulations. • Working knowledge of relational database concepts, including SQL (preferred). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (preferred). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Analytical mindset with attention to detail. • Proactive approach to risk mitigation and issue resolution.
