**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional telephone assistance to Aetna Medicaid members and providers, addressing a range of inquiries and concerns with empathy, expertise, and a customer-centric approach. You will work from home, leveraging your strong communication skills, technical abilities, and problem-solving prowess to deliver an outstanding experience to our callers.
**Responsibilities**
* Answer inbound calls from Aetna Medicaid members and providers, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs
* Utilize high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
* Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
* Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
* Meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
* Work from home, with occasional on-site visits to our Linthicum, MD office when necessary
**Training and Onboarding**
* First 6 weeks: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
* Production schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
**Required Qualifications**
* Must live within 50 miles of Linthicum, MD
* Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
* Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
* Must be able to work from home and prove to be self-sufficient
* High School diploma or equivalent
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working remotely in a call center setting
* Experience with Medicaid and Medicare
* Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer software and hardware
