As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, while still being part of a collaborative and dynamic team. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Associate Data Scientist to join our PRM division, working on a remote basis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, executing, and conveying advanced quantitative analyses and models using data research, statistical, AI, product management, and programming skills. Your work will have a direct impact on our business decisions, and you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, execute, and convey advanced quantitative analyses and models using data research, statistical, AI, product management, and programming skills to drive navigation and actions, either by experts or by systems. * Utilize data engineering and programming skills to clean data, create data streams and pipelines for models to run, and deploy them to production. * Collaborate with partner teams (estimating, yield management, subordinate, etc.) to more deeply understand the issues being addressed and improve existing and create new production models and automated solutions. * Present and present the results of analyses and models with partners, including upper-level management. * Work primarily in Python, SQL, or other coding languages. * Develop hypotheses to test and understand what can and cannot be deduced from the results. * Coach and collaborate with other colleagues. * Create and maintain code guidelines, participate in code reviews, and document work processes, models, and code. * Assist with reporting on a case-by-case basis. **Essential Qualifications** * Four-year degree or higher in Finance, Software Engineering, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or related field required. * Graduate degree in Software Engineering, Information Science, Business Analysis, or other systematically centered programs liked. * Past professional use of SQL, Python, R, or other coding languages. * Past professional use of statistical analysis required. * 0-2 years of applicable professional experience. * Experience in a carrier valuing, yield-or income management, income analysis, income frameworks, or similar job liked. **Desirable Qualifications** * Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative analysis and model development independently. * Ability to apply ideas from finance and valuing management to coding models and scientific products. * Ability to summarize scientific methodologies and products and present insights and actions to upper management proficiently. * Understanding of data research, statistical, AI, product management, or potentially programming solutions and procedures. * Ability to really convey data engineering solutions. * Great scientific and quantitative abilities. * Great written and verbal communication abilities. * Should definitely stand out enough to be noticed to detail for reporting and analysis. * Ability to work cooperatively with different offices, partners, and staff. **Work Environment** This job can be based at our headquarters in Denver, CO or anywhere in the US via a remote work arrangement (occasional travel to Denver from a arenaflex supported city required). If remote, you should be able to follow our remote work policies, have the ability to include and comfort level telecommuting with access to a fast internet connection. If headquarters-based, a standard office climate, sufficiently heated and cooled. **Compensation and Benefits** arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $20-30/hour, depending on experience.
