Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Part Time Remote Data Entry Specialist – Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for performing information section and patient enrollment, answering high volume client requests, and working under direct supervision. You will also be responsible for utilizing pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication data, handling patient medication requests, and investigating to obtain missing prescription data. Key Responsibilities
- Utilize arenaflex's prescription data entry methods and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering data into the appropriate system.
- Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
- Investigate to obtain missing prescription data and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
- Resolve all data entry related exceptions.
- Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
- Resolve Third-Party Rejections by researching, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
- Make phone calls to payers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections.
- Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at different locations.
- Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Basic level computer skills (for example: start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print documents, and/or access information online).
- Basic web browser skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online.
- Transitional level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
- Transitional to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
- Familiarity with Spanish and English.
