About Our Team

Our Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) are a critical part of the arenaflex Platforms Engineering (APE) group, which enables all of our verticals to develop and deliver the best possible products to our customers worldwide. The APE team is responsible for creating current, secure, and efficient software platforms to power our brands at scale. As an SRE, ensuring the availability and reliability of our infrastructure is at the heart of what we do.

Job Overview

We're looking to expand our SRE team with junior engineers seeking an opportunity to grow their careers in an organization undergoing one of the largest technology transformations in history. We're seeking individuals who value collaboration, have strong communication skills, and have a passion for creating high-quality solutions to support our products. As a colleague, you'll be responsible for ensuring the stability of our products and infrastructure alongside other Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, identify, and troubleshoot issues of varying complexity
• Assist with system builds, setup, repairs, and upgrades
• Develop innovative and practical solutions to resolve non-routine issues
• Develop tools to automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring
• Apply working knowledge of system policies, plans, and troubleshooting methods

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A BS in Computer Science or a related technical field; or equivalent industry experience. New graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience with Linux and Operating System principles
• Experience with container-based solutions like Docker
• Experience with cloud best practices and services
• Knowledge of one scripting language, such as Python or JavaScript
• Ability to relate to non-technical audiences and engineers whose area of expertise or experience lies outside SRE and Infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experiences are preferred:

• Knowledge of one systems language, such as C, C++, Go, or Rust
• Experience with TCP/IP, HTTP, application security, monitoring, and storage
• Experience with Kubernetes and container-based orchestration
