**About the Role**
As a Customer Support Response Specialist, you'll be responsible for listening carefully to each caller's situation and providing appropriate solutions to see each call to resolution. You'll handle a wide range of issues, from simple mapping and navigation to emergency situations, and must exhibit a high degree of caring and empathy on each call. You'll also be able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
**Schedule**
* **Flexible Schedule Opportunities**: You schedule your hours, so you can work when it's convenient for you.
* **Client Hours of Operation**: Our clients operate 24/7, so you'll have the flexibility to work day, night, and weekend hours.
**Compensation**
* **Contract Rate**: You'll earn $0.28 per customer interaction minute, with a minimum guarantee of 45 minutes per available hour.
* **Bilingual Contractors**: If you're fluent in Spanish or French, you'll earn a rate of $0.31 per customer interaction minute, with a minimum guarantee of 48 minutes per available hour.
* **Hourly Earnings**: Contractors can expect to earn an equivalent of $12.60 - $16.80 per hour, while bilingual contractors can expect to earn an equivalent of $14.88 - $18.60 per hour.
**Required Skills**
* **Caring and Sympathetic Demeanor**: You'll need to be able to empathize with customers and provide a high level of care in each interaction.
* **Strong Customer Service Skills**: You'll need to be able to listen actively and respond decisively in emergency situations.
* **Multi-Tasking**: You'll need to be able to find answers quickly while on the phone with customers.
* **Prior Experience**: While not required, prior experience with driver assistance programs is a bonus.
**Tech Requirements**
* **Quiet, Uninterrupted Environment**: You'll need to have a quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours.
* **Broadband Internet Connection**: You'll need a broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 MBPS.
* **Wired Internet Connection**: You'll need to use a wired internet connection during tech setups, while attending education classes, and while working.
* **Windows 10 or Windows 11 Operating System**: You'll need to use a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.
* **Valid Antivirus Software**: You'll need to have valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date.
* **Wired USB Headset**: You'll need a wired USB headset with microphone (gaming headsets not accepted).
* **Smart Phone or Tablet**: You'll need a smart phone, Android tablet, or iPad and be willing to install an authentication app related to program work.

**Contractual Relationship**
The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with us. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to have no claim against arenaflex hereunder or otherwise for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
