Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team in Ecuador. As an Account Manager, you'll play a critical role in growing our 3P market in the USA by identifying and acquiring new products, developing and executing GTM strategies, and building strong relationships with key marketplace players. Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Research: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and global developments/activities, and stay up-to-date with competitor efforts.
- Seller Acquisition and Onboarding: Identify, prospect, and acquire high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
- Seller Support and Guidance: Provide guidance to sellers on best practices of online selling, including statistics-driven insights that help sellers achieve high levels of delivery, customer satisfaction, and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve vendor problems, and influence key decision-makers to drive business growth.
Primary Qualifications
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced sales professional with a proven track record of success in ecommerce, sales, or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.
- 1-3 years of sales experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably in ecommerce, retail, FMCG, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales objectives through consultative and solutions-focused processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong working knowledge of Excel and MS Office programs.
- The ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and be enthusiastic about success and winning.
- Strong commercial acumen, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to work with complex data.
- Polished communication skills, including talking, writing, imparting, and negotiating.
- The ability to think critically and lead in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, with a strong "hands-on" approach to managing responsibilities and competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with additional experience and skills in the following areas:
- 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- 3+ years of experience in the purchaser electronics quarter, preferably in a sales or business development role.
- 3+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in a leadership or management role.
